Valley County, Idaho, USA

As an AmeriCorps member working as a STEAM and Environmental Educator for the UI Valley County Extension Office, I hope to bring my background in Environmental Science to connect people to the world around them. Valley County is located in Central Idaho, extending from Payette Lake, following the North Fork of the Payette River south to Cascade, Idaho. To the east are the Salmon River Mountains. The Snake River Plain, lies to the south, to the north, the Salmon River and to the west, the Snake River and Hells Canyon. In our backyard is the largest Wilderness Area in the lower 48 states, the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness.
